Jacob Cooley '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" defensive end weighing in at 197 pounds from Gurdon, AR. I have started on the Gurdon High School varsity team for two years and also in Pee Wee (2005) and junior high teams in Louisiana and Arkansas. I have a 3.8 GPA and an ACT score of 24. I have always had a desire to play football at the collegiate level and have worked hard to excel both academically and athletically through leadership camps and Football University.
My academic interests lie in avionics, education, and other engineering fields. I am open to all types of schools, preferably in the southern region but will consider other locations as well. I will be seeking financial assistance to help me achieve my college goals. I believe I can bring to any team leadership, team spirit, and to never quit. I am usually one of the first to arrive and one of the last to leave. My only realistic goals are to play my freshman year and to be an impact on my team whether I am on the field or on the sideline.
