Personal Statement
I am 6'0" and weigh 200lbs. I run a 5.3 in the 40 yard dash. I may not be the fastest guy on the team but I do contribute leadership, hard work, determination, and dedication. In spring practice before my junior year I tore my ACL and was told I would probably not play during my junior season. My goal was to be back in pads in four months. To the surprise of my doctor and coaches and teammates I made it back, missing only four games. I started in my second game back against Shiloh Christian, a highly ranked team and defending state champions. They went on to win the state championship that year as well. My blocking grade in that game was 78%. Although I was injured for half of the season I received the team leadership award my Junior year. I am now going to be a senior and I have fully recovered from my knee injury. I will start every snap at center and will be the long snapper on my team. I would like to continue my football career after high school as a long snapper. Ideally I would like to pick a school in the South central area of the United States. At this point division level and size of school are not extremely important factors in my school choice. I need a degree program that will prepare me for a physical therapy program. My athletic goal is to be on a college football team and contribute to that teams success in any way possible.
