I am a 5'11" quarterback from Siloam Springs, AR. I was a starter for the Siloam Springs junior varsity team my sophomore season and was projected to be a starter on the varsity team my junior year before a broken collarbone ended my year after just one game. I was officially named the starter my senior year and earned all-conference 6A/7A West. I had a 3.24 GPA and had a 22 ACT score.
In terms of the correct school, I am searching for one that feels like my home away from home. I want the best education that I can possibly get as do most athletes across the country. An education in kinesiology or physical fitness has been my interest for the last couple years of my life. I love everything that has to do with fitness and well being and to give back to the sports that I have grown up giving my all in, I would like to give back and help others.
Being from the north west Arkansas region, I would like to be able to play close enough for my friends and family to come watch. I just want to play for a team and coaches that show interest in me throughout not only the recruiting process, but also once I step on campus and throughout my time with the school. I'm not concerned with the division in which I play, as long as I'm given the chance to show what I have and to go out and compete. I do feel though that my best fit would be DII or DIII schools.
I was a leader through my actions in the way that I composed myself and didn't let the circumstances of a play or game rattle me in any way. I would constantly get compliments on my humble nature from fans and opposing coaches and players. My team used all of the seniors as captains throughout the year, so I would consider myself a team captain in the matter that if anything was needed, the players would come to me to see if I could help in any way. Whether it was a great practice or a horrible practice, I would always pull some of my receivers after practice to work on routes and plays. It is the drive that I have to constantly get better physically, mentally, and even more importantly; spiritually.
