Joshua Caverly '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’ 170 lbs student athlete from Chilliwack, BC, Canada. At age 5 I began playing flag football and progressed to tackle. I have played for 12 years with experience playing running back, wide receiver and safety. 

This has helped me gain confidence, taught me the value of teamwork and helping others. I keep involved in both community and school sport and have received athletic awards while maintaining  a 3.2 GPA. My “coachability” has been key to my early successes. I am committed to getting to the next level and have played for the Northwest Wolfpack 7-7 league, Bellingham, WA to assist in my football development.   

I have just finished my Varsity 2021 High School season capturing a Provincial Championship as one of the Team captains. I  look forward to attending some college camps prior to deciding where I want to play at the next level. 

Through hard work I have been privileged to win team awards for MVP, Offensive Player and Defensive player. This season was no different as I was awarded Outstanding Defensive back for British Columbia and also awarded Outstanding Back for the provincial  championship game. I have been selected to represent Team BC on their U18 Team looking to compete in the near future.

My dream is to play professional ball and see college as a way of making my dream come true while reaching my academic goal with a degree in business.
