My dream has always been to play football for a Canadian or American college. There is only one high school in Richmond, British Columbia, that has a football team. I asked for a transfer from my catchment high school to go to Hugh Boyd Secondary School to play football. Although all my friends were not going to Hugh Boyd Secondary, I knew I had to go to this high school to play football. I want to continue to train, to get stronger, bigger and faster. I go to strength training 4 times a week after school, and I have conditioning training once a week. I also work with a personal trainer in the off-season. I recently went to the FBU Camp in Vancouver (May 4th & 5th, 2013) and I was invited to the FBU Top Gun Camp in Ohio, which I attended July 18th-20th, 2013. At Top Gun, I trained as a full back/running back with many of the elite high school football players all across USA, Canada and Europe. In November 2012, our community football team, Richmond Raiders won the Provincials in the 9-Man Football League. I was one of the players from our team chosen to represent Richmond Raiders to play in the Starbowl in April 2013, which our team won. Until recently, I have also played lacrosse, high school basketball and Kendo training (Japanese Martial Art). I plan to commit to higher grades, and football training. I want to be more consistent on achieving honor roll status every year. This past 2014 season our Hugh Boyd Trojans Football Senior team were Southern Conference Champions, and I was picked as one of the Conference All Stars. We had a great season, and I hope to continue to play football after high school. Along with playing football, I hope to study in the physical education field, or in the trades field.
