Hello coaches,
My name is Adrian Lopez, I am the youngest of a family of 3. I have been playing football ever since 4th grade, it became a sport that I now love. I come from a small high school which places me at a disadvantage already. I am the first in my family to take a sport this seriously in committing to play at the next level, my older brother tried and he did obtain attention from a couple DIII colleges but he was not provided with any support towards that goal. Unfortunately he did not pursue football at the next level due to being talked down from it. Thankfully he is now able to give me support which has done everything to help me be in a better position. I have been working very hard and will continue to work hard in order to put myself in the best position possible. I will be attending the Adidas and Nike combines in California in order to earn a spot in their camps and gain exposure. I truly believe that you get what you work for. Many athletes are already in a good position due to family and/or money but at the end it just comes down to who puts in the most work. Apart from football and regarding my future career choice, I am not completely decided yet but I am very interested in nursing and engineering. I am waiting for next year when i take physics which will help me decide if I want to pursue engineering or nursing.
Thank you,
Adrian Lopez-Hernandez
