Dylan Barton '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dylan Barton. I am in my junior year at Barstow High School, Barstow, CA. I am 6 foot 3 inches tall and weigh approximately 270 lbs. My 40 speed is 5.4 which i have been working on and plan on improving. My bench is not as high as i would like it to be but it currently stands at about 285. Squat is what i bealeave the most helpfull and important lift an athlete can do and that is what i have spent a lot of my time working on. I have parralel squated 545 and can box squat 600+. I have played on the varsity team at Barstow for two years and will play next year. I played offensive tackle as a freshman and also my sophomore year. This year I was the starting center due to a shortage of players willing to take on that position. I plan to play center again my senior year. I have spent some time at guard and defensive tackle. My team was a CIF Eastern division runner-up in 2008 with a record of 11-3. In 2009 we went to the first round of playoffs with a record of 7-4. I am on target to graduate in June 2011 and this semester I have a 3.0 grade point average. I am very easy to be coached and willing to anything to continue playing and succeding in football.
