Derek Campbell '20 Recruiting Profile

    I am a 6'2" 260 pound 2020 defensive tackle from Benicia, CA. I have started both ways and special teams for all four years . I take my academics very seriously and my grades are very important to me. My GPA is currently 3.342 but I am striving to improve it.  I’ve taken the SAT twice, receiving a 1240 and a 1270.

    I am looking for a college football program that will help me excel both academically and athletically. I would like to attend an institution that offers one of my two majors which are Business Administration and Finance.  I am looking for a football program that encourages teamwork and brotherhood. I am one of the Captains on my team and I take my leadership role very seriously. Encouraging my teammates and working hard together as a team is something I believe in deeply. I want to play at the highest level possible while getting a great education and being part of a football program that has a family atmosphere.

    Besides football and my academics, I also participate in Marching and Symphonic Band, AAU Basketball and twice  a month I volunteer with my church to feed homeless people around the city.
