Kenny Gagnon '16 Recruiting Profile

I've always dreamed about playing football in college, and at the same time get a college degree. Both of my parents went to college, and have always stressed the importance of getting a good education.  I'm an athlete who is very coachable, and most of all, I give everything I have, on the field.  I can catch anything thrown my way, while running my routes hard and precise.  I'm very fast and use that to my advantage by creating separation.  I'm also a very smart player who has natural instincts on the football field.  I can read defenses and find their weaknesses, and by doing so, I find openings in the coverage. I enjoy practicing to improve my skills and weight training to build muscle and strength. Most of all, I work hard and am willing to give everything I have for the TEAM.

I have attended Desert Christian Academy (DCA), since Pre-School.  By doing so, I believe DCA has instilled in me character building values that will always be part of me on and off the field. Being at a small school has allowed me to compete and excel in other sports besides football (baseball & basketball).  At the same time, DCA has a college prep curriculum and they want each student to have a quality education and they prepare their students well for college.  As I've matured over the last few years, I've come to appreciate the sacrifices my parents have made to send me and my sister to a private school.  My parents, teachers, and coaches have all invested a lot towards my future.  I intend to honor them by working hard and being of good character throughout my lifetime.
