Brendan Widerburg '25 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking the time to read about my Personal Goals and Aspirations as a Collegiate Student/Athlete. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and as I've matured, I realize how important Academics are to my long term success. 

I would very much like to compete in Football at the the next level, and realize how hard I need to work in order to accomplish that. I've been raised with the understanding that nothing comes easy, and the rewards you earn from your hard work are very gratifying.

I'll be going into my 3rd Season of playing the position of Quarterback, and I realize I have a lot to learn. But I'm confident that my growth as a Quarterback in the past year and a half shows I have a big upside. I'm just now tapping into my potential after finishing my Sophomore year taking every snap from center in all 10 games, and throwing over 290 passes. I understand the game and I'm willing to outwork the other guy to achieve my goals as a starter, a leader and a winner. 

Academically I maintain a high GPA and continue to be on the Principal's Honor Roll.  I've been a member of multiple on Campus Clubs including AVID, META and Young Lives Club. Although I'm unsure of what I would like to study in College, I am sure I will have a better idea when the time comes to declare a Major.
