Personal Statement
At a very young age, my father brought the sport of football to my attention. I can remember being responsible for carrying a football in my hands at all times. And at age seven I started playing on a Pop Warner football team. I have loved the game ever since. I spent seven years playing Pop Warner football before entering high school. The past several years has been amazing. I have worked harder than ever in the classroom as well as on the field. As a freshman, I was selected for the positions of team captain, running back and line-backer. The following year, I was pulled up to the varsity team. Being apart of a Division I football team is an exciting and challenging experience. I am on a pursuit of greatness. I take every opportunity to improve my skills on and off the field. This happens through participation in 707s during the off season as well as working with a personal trainer to improve my speed, agility, and endurance. Outside of all of this, I enjoy working within my church community. The prize behind all of this work is the goal of becoming the first person in my family to achieve a college degree.
