Personal Statement

My dreams to be in the NFL. I know that is a really high expectation but I think I can achieve it because it's something I want and I won't stop trying until I get it. My goal for right now is to keep my grades up to get at least a 3.5 GPA so I could be the only one in my family to get into college and graduate. Some people have told me having high expectations for yourself is a bad thing because you are destined to fail but what I think is that they did not try hard enough to get to that point but I'm not going to stop trying, I'm not going to give up until I achieve my goals.
Football to me is my life, it is something I love doing, it is something I want to keep on doing for the rest of my life. I'll do anything in order to play, even if it means to stay after practice is over, to stay after everybody leaves the weight room, to give up all my free time just so i could study the playbook or watch film. I strive to make myself better because I want to be the best that I can be. It's like what Is the point in just sitting around wishing you could be the best when you could get out here and do it.
The first that i realize that is the key to get into college and be able to keep on playing football is to keep my grades up. that is why I set a goal for myself every quarter to at least get all A's and B's. Sometimes I don't get those grade but I do whatever I can to get them up even if I have to skip practice and study or work with the teacher. That is how much my football career and academics mean to me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
