Dariush Sayson '18 Recruiting Profile

My first collegiate goal is to attend an academically prestigious university.  My second collegiate goal is to play football at that prestigious university.  I feel that I am a good candidate because not only am I athletic, I am also a very smart athlete.  I am a natural leader who is disciplined and is always open to new information.  What makes me different from most recruits is school comes before sports.  Most athletes try to do the minimum amount of work to maintain eligibility, while I strive to obtain a 4.0 at all times.  Moreover, I was the only freshman representative on the panel which interviewed and decided who Santa Monica High School's new varsity head football coach would be.  What also separates me from most athletes is that I am one of two athletes in the school who plays football and basketball.
