Walter Grande '13 Recruiting Profile

My biggest dream has always been to one day be a professional athlete. It has been that dream that fueled me and gave me the strenght to ultimately play any sport my school offered. I have played soccer since 5th grade, baseball since I was 11 years old but not until my senior year was I able to play the sport that captivates my heart, football.

In addition to playing sports my future aspirations are to pursue a degree in the health proffesion. Primarily of interest are Pharmacy, Homeopathic medicine, Optometry, Nutrition and Physical education.

This senior year has challenged me in many ways, but it's taught me to go hard after my dreams and at any means follow them and not give up. I am attending a neighboring city school traveling over an hour on bus and though it made for long days, it has been worth it, because inspite of the challenges I was able to play football. It's been an academic challenge but I'm striving to end well and make myself marketable and an asset to any team and school.

I am a team player and all I need now is a team to play on! .
