Personal Statement
On the field: I am the #41 ranked 2020 Rubio Long Snapper in the nation. I have the size, talent, speed and grades to snap a D1 college ball. As of Summer 2019, I am the 6’ 2” 2250 lb, starting Varsity Long Snapper for La Costa Canyon HS in Carlsbad, CA - playing in San Diego’s most competitive football league. I performed every special teams snap for the varsity the past two seasons with no bad snaps and a snap average of .72 seconds at 14 yards. I received All-League Varsity Honors as a Sophomore and Junior Long Snapper. I run a 4.95 second 40, bench 255 and squat 425. In every game as an underclassman, I competed against several, Senior D1-bound players.
In the classroom/community: I am a high-character student-athlete with a GPA of 4.2+, taking challenging Honors and AP courses. I am a member of California Scholarship Federation and National Honor Society. I volunteer through the prestigious Teen Volunteers In Action organization volunteering for non-profit organizations throughout the county and I founded the Scholars for Supplies club.
In the future: I am looking for a college that will help me reach my full potential academically while allowing me to continue playing this magnificent game of football that I love. I want to attend a university that allows me to compete against some of the best, both on the field and in the classroom. If your program is in need of an intelligent, accurate, reliable 2020 snapper, review my hudl and contact me.
