Personal Statement
My name is Tommy Nix, I born and raised in Hanford, CA. I started playing football when I was eligible at 5-years-old. I grew up watching my Dad play and I found a passion for the sport. I enjoy watching college football, NFL, and break-down my own game film. I've been told by many coaches and parents, that I am a great athlete and valuable to the team because I play 2-way. I play Wide-Receiver, Defensive-back and Free Safety. My junior year, I received CMAC All League 1st team Wide-Receiver and ended the year with a 4.0 GPA. This year I finished my senior year with 20 TDs, 1535 yards, 84 tackles, 5 interceptions and 1 pick 6 and received Specialist of the Year in the D1 TRAC the toughest conference in the Central Section.
I consider myself an athlete, team-player, competitive, a leader, confident, dedicated, hard-working, passionate, respectful, always early to everything, and a focused young man. My goal is to play football at the next level. I train and practice on a daily basis to be the best in the field. I've attended several football camps through the years to compete with different athletes to see where I stand with other competition. My Dad has been training me all my life and has been my biggest supporter.
