Personal Statement
I began my involvement in athletics as a child where I embraced Baseball and Wrestling, and then later added Jiu Jitsu to my skillset. But I found my true passion for Football during my Freshman year, and ever since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level, which is both a huge blessing and a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Since then, I’ve been continually working to improve my skills and training to get bigger, stronger, and faster as well as leading by example. My continued determination towards these efforts have paid off as I am now varsity team captain! I enjoy pushing myself and my teammates to be better versions of ourselves on and off of the field. And I continue to challenge and push myself when the situation gets tough, and I dig harder to outwork all of my teammates and opponent’s, to hopefully achieve the reputation as one of the hardest working recruits you will ever find.
I understand that my scholastics are equally as important as my work on the field, to prepare for future life off the field, which is why I continually push myself mentally, physically, psychologically, and emotionally to study hard and maintain a high GPA.
I would like to attend a college that not only accepts me for who I am, but they allow me to strive and grow to be a better version of myself with their added assistance and guidance on and off the football field.
I am open to all options, and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model, a great leader, and an inspiration to all of my peers, and make my family and all who surround me proud.
