Anthony Diaz '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anthony Diaz, and I am a running back for Narbonne High school, in Harbor City CA and will graduate in 2021.  I am 5'6", and I am truly committed and dedicated to this sport putting my heart, dedication, and hard work ethic towards this sport every play, practice, and most importantly games. I've been playing football in high school since my freshman year and I don't plan on stopping. In my freshman season, I received the award "Scout Team Mvp". I have a 3.0 Gpa, and I have received "honors in academic excellence" from my school for maintaining a gpa from 3.0-3.5. I am searching for a university somewhere on the west coast or just generally in the west, that gives me the balance off and on the field, in and out the classroom, and somewhat close to home. I am also searching for a school  financially affordable and comfortable for my family and I, with no high out of pocket expenses. For academics, I want to pursue a school that can give me a great level of education and help cover my major of being an athletic trainer, however my major may change. My athletic goals are to continue playing at the next level, and to continue playing football as much as I can, to make an impact on a team and, make an impact on those after me. All in all, I want to make a difference as well as accomplish being the third person in my family to go and graduate college, however I want to be the first person in my family to play college sports at the next level.
