I believe I'm a good candidate for their team in several different ways. I once had a sad incident with my grandma passing away while i was living with her and my mother being single being laid off her work and being evicted of our home and living from cousin houses , to motels , and i even had to stay with a teammate just for me to get to school . And keeping a decent GPA , with all these conflicts going on is very hard for me . There was honestly a point at time that my mother skipped dinner so she can be able to feed me and my sister. I just went hard everyday in the weight room And at practice and it finally payed off at the end of the season of me winning MVP as a junior and also being recognized as 1st team all league defense. I also got recognized for being dr.peppers 2014 most inspirational player of the year award and receiving a $4,000 scholarship.
