It's been a crazy process but I'm ready to be done. I want to thank all he coaches that recruited me and I'm proud to announce my commitment to Cal! Looking forward to being a Golden Bear!
I am a 6’ 7”, 300 lbs. Junior offensive tackle from Corte Madera, California. I started playing football my freshman year at Redwood High School in Larkspur, California. I earned a starting spot at right tackle on my high school’s varsity team as a sophomore, playing 99% of the offensive snaps during the season. In my Junior year I played all offensive snaps, and half of the defensive snaps. I have learned a complicated sport very quickly and I continue to improve with each game. In addition, I played on my high school's varsity basketball team as a sophomore after being one of the top scorers on my freshman basketball team.
I believe I am capable of playing Division 1 football and I would like to do so at an academically challenging college. My GPA is a 3.86. Academics are important to my family. My dad went to Dartmouth and my mom went to Penn. In the end my choice will be based as much on academic excellence as on a school's athletic level of competition. The ideal university would offer a major in architecture, but since that is limiting, I would definitely consider more common majors such as business.
