My name is Willie Iribarren, 6-3 230. I was the Captain starting Middle Linebacker for Allan Hancock JC. I finished my Sophomore year with 98+ tackles (48 solo 48 asst) 13 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, interception for TD and 3 deflections. I had 19 tackles my first game against South Torrance this last season and always kept trying to maintain those numbers. The highlight film is just a few of my stats that you can see well. I was just named to SCFA Scholar-Athlete Team and I've earned multiple team defensive player of year awards and all first team all conference, second teams and on. I also call the plays for my fellow teammates. I am fully qualified to play in NCAA Division 1, 2, 3 and NAIA. I graduated from Lompoc High School in 2013 while earning all area, all league, all C.I.F. 1st Team Honors in 2011 and 2012, as well as team defensive player of the year in 2011 and 2012, and league Defensive player of the year 2012. My team won the C.I.F. championship both years. As the starting middle linebacker (since my sophomore year) and defensive captain my junior and senior year, my team had the longest winning streak (32 games) in California from 2010 –2012. I have a GPA of 3.5 for Hancock. I am excited at the prospect of playing football and continuing my education at the next level. I learned how different college football can be from High school, pushing myself to work harder and knowing I can truly be one of the best out there. I do take my position seriously. I have never drank, taken drugs nor used anything other than advil (rarely). I take pride in knowing that I am truly a great person and the fact that I am well respected for my choices of not 'partying'. I have the skills it takes to play at the highest level of college football. My love for football in JC only grew deeper which I didn't think was possible. Thanks for reviewing my file. Also, pls see a recent headline featured on JUCO website. Thank you! Willie Iribarren
