I started to like football when my brother played high school football because I enjoyed watching it. I never thought I would get fond of it because I liked Basketball and Soccer. I stopped playing both sports when I got to high school because I wanted to follow my brother's steps in playing football because he said I would be a great player if I played football and I actually wanted to try it myself. I ended up going to one practice and I literally fell in love with football. I have played football since my freshman year and till this day I continue to enjoy watching and playing the game. I work as hard in the field as in the classroom which has helped me keep a high GPA. I want to use football as a motivational tool to reach all my goals. I take pride that I was a starting wide receiver in varsity at the age of 16 when the other kids were 17 or 18 and some were even 19 years old. I don't let my age hold me back, I use it as motivation to make myself an even better athlete. My motivation comes from my mom because she has gone through a lot, she is always pushing me to do my best and she has gone to every single one of my games. She is the world to me and I would give up everything for her. I am a committed person and I don't ever like coming last, I push myself to do the best I can. I am interested in becoming a doctor and I am really fond of the environment and of animals, so I am interested in becoming a Fish and Game Warden. I want to create my own two charities and I want to become and entrepreneur some day. I have 3.68 GPA and I am ranked seven in my class. I attend a school who specifies in Business and Tourism and they have really helped me develop my communication skills. I am a mentor at my school from a program called GEAR UP 4 LA; I provide vital information about colleges to peers in order to help them apply for college. I mentor underclassmen about A-G and high school graduation requirements and receive training to present classroom mentor presentations (CMPs). I attend mentor summit workshops to develop college going skills. I am a member of the National Honors Society. Some of my academic awards are; Best in Subject for Algebra 2 and Physical Education, I received a perfect score in the math section of the California High School Exit Exam, I have been in the principles honor roll three straight times, and I have received a scholar athlete award. As for athletic awards i received junior Varsity and Varsity Letterman for Track and Field.
