Michael Tashman '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Tashman, and I have been playing football my whole life. I love the contact, team comraderie, and have great passion for the sport. My interests are playing football, basketball, baseball, and watching sports.

 I enjoy spending time with the people I love, which are my family and friends. Whether it be organinzing a monthly basketball tournament with my friends, or having dinner with my family, I make an effort to spend time with the people who are close to me. I'm looking forward to graduating high school and moving on to college. I am looking for a school that has a strong business program as well as the opportunity to play football.

 It is my dream to play football at the next level. In recruiting me, you will receive a high-class type guy, who works hard in becoming the best that I possibly can, has a high football IQ, and will lead the team both on and off the field. I love my teammates and consider my football team my second family.

I am 6'2, 250 lbs. I run a 5.19 40-yard dash, bench 295, squat 375, and leg press 800. My high school plays in the CA 8 man Division 1, but we are trying to move to 11 man. Every year we play 2 or 3 11 man games in an attempt to make the transition easier. Complications with our field and school size limited us to 8 man football, but we are looking to go 11 man in 2012.

I am open to a big or small school in Division 1A, II, or III, that has good spirit, and has a strong business program. My desired major is sports management, and I would like to have my own agency representing professional athletes.

I would like to be part of a successfull team, and get a chance to play.
