Personal Statement
The tougher the situation the more I want it. I think that the challenges that life brings is what really pushes me to be the best I can be. I became Interested in football at an early age; 5 years old to be exact. I really just had a feel for the game that I believe is unmatched. The grind and the work ethic needed for football is something that really caught my attention. I have learned that the mind is stronger than people think. During games and practices when my body began giving out I knew I just had to tell myself that I’m alright because I knew that I am really not tired, but my mind wasn’t being strong at that point. My academic goals for high school is to finish with a strong GPA of 3.5 or higher. For college, my GPA goals are the same, and I want to take medical classes and finish them with high grades. I haven’t had to overcome any obstacles worth mentioning to get where I’m at now. The real obstacle I’ve had to go through was myself, I have had to push through mental blocks that were guarding my goals. I believe that I can adapt to any situation well no matter if it is in the classroom or on the field.
