Losing in the first round of playoffs my junior season was my biggest victory. After the loss, I feel as if it helped mold me into the young driven, determined man I am today. It showed me and gave me extra drive to do better in all the things I do or even begin to apply myself to. I realized in order to never put my team and coaching staff back into that situation i'd have to step up and improve myself as an individual. My work ethic and passion for the game are now at its peak. I've been pushing myself to extremes and continue to do so in everything I do. The losing experience I had during my junior year of the first round of playoffs was taken as a positive and definitely drove me to work, in the classroom and on the field, to my fullest potential at all times.
I am very blessed and fortunate to be put within that situation as well as taking that loss as a negative and learning from it. Through all those hardships at that time, I still managed to learn the value of communication, determination, comradery, commitment, and sacrifice. For the benefit of myself and others, I now hold myself to a higher standard and aim higher for everything I do within life from studies in the classroom all the way to drills on the field. From this loss, I learned how to put passion into the things I love and how to sustain that passion the whole way through. On top of all of that, I have maintained a 3.2 GPA throughout each and every year of high school. In college, I plan on getting into the medical field and enhancing my knowledge in Sports Medicine. I, without a doubt, know I have what it takes to bring my talents to the next level and am looking forward to doing so.
