Personal Statement
The most influential moment of my football career was my freshman year when our team lost in our Northern California Championship game. Watching the Seniors walk off the field for the last time was heartbreaking and a wake up call that football does not last forever. This loss has influenced me to dedicate everything I have into this sport because I refuse to accept that high school is the end of my football career. I will not let my teammates down, and have dedicated myself to my team to ensure we win the last game. This experience has led to my development as a football player, a teammate, and even a student.
I have been very fortunate to be a part of an amazing program and coaching staff which embody the qualities of not only being a football player but also in becoming a man. I have learned the values of brotherhood and sacrifice through our program. I am looking for a college program that fits, athletically, academically, and a program that shares my passion for winning and the meaning of a team, not the individual. I feel like I have what it takes to play at the next level. I believe my talent and exceptional leadership skills that I have developed from being selected as team captain for the last two years, will be an asset to any college football program.
I have loved this game since the first time I put on a helmet in 8th grade. Being a three-sport athlete, I can safely say there is nothing like the feeling of playing the game of football. I am excited to continue my journey on the Gridiron.
