Lenier Lee, Jr. '13 Recruiting Profile

l am a 6'1" 237lb ILB out of Rancho Verde High School in Moreno Valley.  While in High School I played in three CIF Championship games, winning a championship in my Junior year, the only CIF Championship won at Rancho Verde to this day.   I received League Defensive MVP, All-area First Team, First team All County, First team All CIF, and All-State.   Also, in high school I coached the girls powder puff football games winning both my Junior and Senior years. I played in the County All Star game and we won that game as well.  When I left High School I played one year at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga as starting ILB winning a division title, it was the first title the school had won in years. While at Chaffey I lead the team in tackles and made 2nd team all conference.  I have experience in all Linebacker positions and can pick up any defensive system quickly.  I am an excellent football strategist and my previous coaches have given me control over the defense to call plays on the field. Currently I am attending Tennessee Tech (D1AA) with a 2.5 GPA where I am completing my Junior year as an ILB.  Recently,  a new head coach and his team came to TTU and made a lot of changes to the program and I now feel that the school is no longer a good fit for me.  I have requested my release from TTU which you may view under my profile, so I am able to receive calls from you.  I have one year of eligibility left and I would like to spend that year being an asset to a team while providing leadership as I continue to learn, grow and strengthen my talent and knowledge of the game.  I am a  hard worker on and off the field.   My goals off the field include becoming a Physical Therapist and one day coaching football.
