My name is Logan Herman and I love the game of football. I started playing on club teams at the age of seven. I knew from my first experience on the field that I wanted to play at the college level. In my last year playing on a club team, for the Palo Alto Knights, my team went to Nationals in Florida. That same year, I was honored to be chosen as one of only 30 West Coast athletes to play in the AYF Under Armour National All-Star Game, also in Florida.
I am now playing football for Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. I am always working to improve my skills, including training with the varsity athletes to get bigger and stronger and participating in the Stanford University football camp. I have strong leadership skills, a true understanding of the game plays, and I always try to motivate my team to give our very best.
In addition to school and sports, I am a member of BRIC Brothers, a campus club for students who want to make a difference in the community. I am also active in my church youth group and recently went on a service trip to Mexicali to serve the community there. In the summer, I worked as a camp counselor at a youth sports camp and I also helped train some freshmen athletes. I love the opportunity to share my passion for sports with other developing athletes.
My dream is to attend a college where I can play at the highest possible level of competition, and where I will be challenged both as an athlete and as a student.
