Alex Rocha '14 Recruiting Profile

A little about myself...I have lived in Napa, California my whole life. I try during my off times to insert myself into my community, attending sporting events, club or theater events, volunteering or helping out when I can. My peers would say I'm genuine, trustworthy, hardworking and respected. I realize the importance of their support and work hard to maintain that recognition. As for school, I do take some AP classes. I know the college academic experience will be more difficult and hope the AP classes will give me a bit of insight to what's coming. As for football....I've played since age 10 and couldn't wait to sign up year after year. I also played baseball during that time and continued both sports into high school. My sophomore year I decided it was time to focus solely on football. I enjoyed football a bit more and felt that's where my abilities were strongest. Football is my future. The bonds you form, the hard workouts, the ability to master new plays, and the feeling on Friday Nights are all aspects that drive me. I am coachable, studious and dedicated to the game. It would be a dream come true to play at the collegiate level. To be a part of a team that has worked as I have putting their future goals foremost in their minds to achieve the ability to play at the collegiate level would be an honor.
