Personal Statement
Currently enrolled and starting right guard at Diablo Valley College (http://dvcvikings.com/sports/fball/2015-16/bios/lowry_rangel_6031).
My plan is to go to a four year college, majoring in Criminal Justice and/or Kinesiology, play football and my big dream is to play in the NFL. If the college I choose allows me to wrestle that would be something I would like to do. I have been wrestling since I was nine years old. I have made varsity every year in high school earning all league. After college and hopefully a football career I will use all the knowledge and skills from college to pursue a viable career in my chosen field of study. I will use football as a tool to get a college education, to continue learning how to work with people, and to become successful in a competitive world. I will strive to become an Academic All-American in college as well as being as successful on the football field. I understand that I am a student-athlete not just an athlete. They both work hand in hand and I will definitely use both throughout my life.
