Personal Statement

I have been playing football ever since I could walk and ever since then my passion for the sport has only amplified. Such passion only fuels my ongoing aspirations to play football at the collegiate level. I am constantly working on getting bigger, stronger, faster, as well as grasping a better understanding of the game of football, soaking in as much knowledge as possible from coaches and experiences alike. I am a vehement leader who both leads vocally and more importantly by example whether it be in the weightroom, classroom, or field. As for my work ethic I don't believe in complaining nor giving up which is reflected in any endeavor, both small and large, and I feel as if this work ethic is reflected upon anyone who works with me. I am also very coachable because I enjoy feedback and am able to adjust to the coaching style of any coach I play for. In the classroom my work ethic shines again. Being in multiple AP and honors classes shows how I'm not only dedicated at football but to the classroom as well. As for philanthropies I am a part of NLYM, which is an organization that does charity work for a variety of organizations that give back to the community, I'm also the representative for El Modena for CureFA, an organization dedicated towards curing Friedreichs Ataxia which a friend of mine suffers from, and I am the VP of ELMO Buddies, a club that helps the special needs students. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and  on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately  find the right college match at the highest level of competition  possible.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
