Jonah Osborne '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Jonah Osborne. I am currently a 6'1" sophomore at Redding Christian School in Palo Cedro, California. I was the Kicker for the varsity team at my school.  Redding Christian plays in the Northern California 8 man league. I have learned so much from my coaches and teammates about what it means to play high school sports.  I finished with 39/51 on extra points, 2/4 on field goals with my longest in game field goal was 32 yards. My longest field goal in practice was 42 yards. I was ranked 4th in California and 6th in the nation in extra points and kick scoring for 8 man football. When I am kicking extra points, I usually don't blast them through the uprights because there is a higher risk of me shanking the kick. I usually put an easy chip shot through the uprights and then put more power on it when I am kicking from a distance.  I hope to major in Kinesiology or Sports Medicine. I will play my best for any team. I will work hard to improve my distance, accuracy, and placement. I will do my best to glorify Jesus Christ on and off the field. As for academics, I currently average a 3.2 GPA. I also compete in baseball and men's volleyball.
