Personal Statement
Growing up as a multiple sport athlete I was able to learn and experience what it took to be successful both on and off the field. Through sports I learned teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I have always been a leader on the field but not with my words, but with my actions. My heart is 100% football, I eat, sleep, and think football every minute of every day. During Covid I took advantage of my downtime and shortened season to get bigger and stronger to take my play to the next level. The commitment level I have for my team goes beyond words. My teammates are my brothers and we have each others backs. I would go to war for my team and coaches and they know that. I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
When I'm not practicing and competing in sports you will find me fishing and hunting. My grandfather introduced the outdoors to me when I was 5 years old. I became his fishing and hunting buddy and he taught me everything he knows. These skills and experiences is something I value very much and have helped shape me into the person I am today. Through fishing and hunting I have learned patience and the need to prepare for success. I have been preparing myself to compete in football at the collegian level and I'm looking for the right football program to continue reaching my goals.
