Mahki Gray-Virgil '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 7. Since stepping onto a football field, I have aspired to play not only at the collegiate level but I also have goals of reaching the pros one day. My field IQ, ability to run tough routes, ball handling skills, and speed are some of my biggest attributes. I strive to be the hardest working person on the field and always lead by example. I work and play hard no matter the outcome. I am easy to coach and like a sponge, I absorb everything I am taught. 

Off the field, I also put forth just as much effort in the classroom. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and believe academics are essential to accomplish the goals I have for myself.

I envision my college years to be a period of personal growth. My goal is to attend a college that not only offers a dominant football program, but also provides either a Sports Medicine or Kinesiology program as well. I strive to be an asset on the team defensively as a dominant safety and offensively as an explosive receiver, punt returner, and kick off returner. Most importantly, I will always conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field.
