Personal Statement
Being one out of the only two freshman on the varsity team was was the highlight of my high school career because I feel it shaped my skill set and mental intelligence to what it is today. As a student athlete I feel I grew most my sophomore year because I was able to connect with my classmates on a different topic other then just sports. I was able to find out some of their interests and formulate what I plan to study in college. With this wiser mindset, I was able to set high standards and goals for myself, first being, able to go to college for free.
Despite the small size of my school, I was able to be a part of a successful football program and contribute to playing in three championships. Throughout my four years I have witnessed many different football teams at my school that taught me how to be a captain and lead my teammates in the right direction. My high school football career has taught me not only how to manage my time between sports and school, but to form everlasting bonds with my teammates that will propel me into a college football career, with the ability to adapt to what ever adversity that comes my way.
