Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Cooper Nixon and I am a 2023 running back. I have a 4.5 (4.0 unweighted) GPA. I am 6 feet, 185 pounds, with a 4.63s 40 yard dash (unofficial stopwatch). I am passionate about football and have worked hard to make myself a valuable member of our team. Since the beginning of last season, I have dedicated myself to building strength, power and speed. I have hit the gym hard everyday even through baseball season and while maintaining straight A's. I pride myself in being a fantastic downhill runner; I will find the hole, hit it, create opportunities and push downfield at top speed. I love the sport of football and my commitment is unchallenged. My mom has always told me of her experiences of being a D1 athlete (Track, Stanford) and it has always reflected the type of college experience I would love to have. I am looking for a school where I can continue to be academically challenged while continuing my dream of playing football.
