Personal Statement
My name is Christian Laliberte. I currently attend Santa Margarita Catholic high school. I play football in the trinity league which is not only the toughest league physically but academically as well. I am fortunate to play with and against some of the best athletes in the nation. I am a versatile athlete and have played many positions on both offense, defense and special teams. I am an extremely physical football player and currently play Defensive Back. Both Corner and Safety. My goal is to continue to play football at the next level. I look forward to getting an outstanding education as well as playing a game I am passionate about. I consider myself a student of the game. I am continually growing my knowledge of the game by studying hours of film each week. Although I struggle academically due to some learning challenges I continue to strive to do my best with extra hours of studying by myself and with a tutor each week. I never back down from a challenge. During the off season I train consistently each day with former NFL and collegiate coaches. I firmly believe that no one makes it to the top alone. You need a team behind you to make it. I am very blessed to be on a great football team with great coaches and also with a great team of family and mentors. I am a very coachable athlete who listens, learns and executes. I would be an asset to any football program. This last year has been a challenge especially here in California. It has taught me to take nothing for granted, adapt to change and to keep pressing forward and to fight harder for my goals.
