Personal Statement

My name is Nathan Juarez I'm originally from Brawley California but relocated to San Marcos CA when I was 5 years old.  Being from a small town and moving to a big city and having no friends and very little family around I asked my mother to sign me up for pop warner football which she did and I have to say I was really good at it I played safety, running back and punter which I look back and laugh at how small I was but nothing stopped me from playing any position my coaches put me at.  I played pop warner football for 5 years but then decided to take a break and play basketball for a year I was good at basketball to but realized football was my passion and was something that I knew I had to pursue and work hard at if I want to play at the collegiate level.  After I was done with Junior high and basketball I signed-up for the freshman football team at Mission Hills High School not playing for almost 2 years I was a little rusty but I knew I still had it in me because of my passion for football and never limiting myself to go after what I want.  I now have been playing high school football at Mission Hills High School for 3 years as a cornerback and I have to admit I'm not the tallest but I am the quickest.  I believe what makes me a good football player and teammate is my knowledge and passion I have for the game and my willingness to play any position that is asked of me to play.  Football has not only taught me about performing on the field but has also taught me how important it is to working hard in the classroom and achieving an academic recognition on the All Academic Team in San Diego County.  As I said before I'm not the tallest athlete but I am confident, If I work hard I know I have a good chance of winning and believe that I can make a difference to any team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
