Going the California State Championship last year was the highlight of my high school career. Although we came up a little short, it was an amazing experience. However, I feel that I grew the most as a student-athlete as this was the semester that I also earned my highest GPA (3.67). That experience helped me grow as a person and led me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a solid student athlete playing at the college level.
I am fortunate enough to be part of an amazing program that has won the North California section championship three times in the past four years and went to the State Championships twice. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership this past season. I'm hoping that COVID-19 doesn't prevent me from playing football in 2020. Even though we are sheltering in place in the Bay Area, I still workout and lift six days a week preparing for the season. I'm hoping that we can make another run at a State Championship.
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
