Hi, My name is CJ Mound, I am a Varsity Football player at Saugus Highschool. I started playing football at the early age of 6 years old down in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I first became interested in the sport when I would watch the Giants play, I saw the OBJ one-handed catch and I felt inspired and wanted to do the same thing. Of course, there have been many obstacles for me to overcome for me to get to where I am right now, some of these include, physical attributes, mental attitude, and my overall effort. Me overcoming these obstacles has helped me shape who I am on and off the football field. There are many things though that have also influenced my life, one being my parents who push me so hard to become the best version of myself. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be in the position that I am in right now. Second, my Uncle has always been there for me no matter what, he brought me up when I was at my lowest and would always put a smile on my face. Third, my Grandma has been through rough times but always finds joy in those moments and she inspires me to be a hard worker no matter what the circumstance is. Aside from these, I do have goals that I set for myself academically in high school that I want to set for myself in college, being able to maintain a good GPA, two being a good student and being a helpful student, and three always being a role model.
Just a little bit about who I am and what I want to accomplish
Thanks!!!
-CJ Mound
