I am currently in my Junior year of high school, working to prepare myself to attend a 4-year university where I can pursue an undergraduate degree. My goal is to attend a university that places a high value on both academics and athletics, and that will promote cultural and spiritual development as well.
I would be an ideal recruit because my personal and academic history has allowed me to experience different cultures, geographical areas, and learning environments, all of which has aided my growth as a student-athlete.
I am athletically diverse in that I have played multiple positions and have made positive contributions to my teams as a receiver, linebacker, defensive back, quarterback, and running back. I have excelled in each position assigned to me. I also participated in Men's Basketball and Track and Field, earning a first place medal my first year out. My leadership skills have earned me the title of Captain in both Pop Warner and high school level football. I have taken advanced level classes since junior high school, and have earned a 3.0 cumulative high school g.p.a. I have set a goal g.p.a for my last high school years at a 3.5, and have identified several volunteer opportunities for the 2015/16 summer break.
I believe I am a well-rounded student-athlete and my overall focus is to become the same on the college level.
