Being able to make the varsity team as a sophomore is the highlight of my high school career so far. By being apart of the team that lost in the NorCal Bowl Game twice in a row helped me better myself into becoming a better team player and helped me focus on the little things that matter the most. Without those heartbreaking experiences, I wouldn't be the athlete I am today.
I first became interested in playing football when I was very little. My father introduced it to me and I started playing the very first year I could start. I have learned that you have to work as a team and believe in each one of your teammates to have a successful season. My academic goals for high school is to make the honor roll and graduate with well over a 4.0. Some goals for college is to graduate and then go on to pursue law school. An obstacle I had to overcome was freshman year during wrestling season. I was at the state tournament wrestling for third place. It was the very last match of the tournament and I landed wrong on my knee. I soon found out that I had dislocated my patella but have not had any issues since. I feel like I possess leadership, a good work ethic, and character to make an impact on a college program. I have been told by my coaches that I am coachable and my strong work ethic has set me apart from others.
