Jadon Cline '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jadon Cline, I am a 6’1” 190 lb. starting Slot Receiver/ H-Back and outside linebacker graduating in 2020 at Ventura High School in Ventura, California. My sense of pride in my academic career is evident in my pursuit of both AP and Honors classes while maintaining a cumulative 3.8 GPA as a Junior. In the past I put myself in a position to be able to compete on JV as a Freshman and Varsity football as a Sophomore. This past year I focused on keeping a competitive and engaged mindset throughout the season, despite our teams poor record. I was honored this year to earn First Team All League as a H-back/ Slot receiver in the Pacific View League and First Team All County. I attribute my success to my self motivation and a want to be better, while making a difference on the football field. My training and off-season workout program has really made a difference throughout my progression to be better. I believe that my coachability and my want to be successful puts me in a higher category than other athletes.

Through my passion for the game, I have learned how much my family, friends, and classmates support me and what my true potential is as a student athlete. The obstacles I have overcome, have only added to the intensity that I bring with me to the field, my determination motivates me to play at the highest level I possibly can.

My primary value is respect. I respect the name across my chest, other players, coaches, and teams. As well as demand respect from others through my actions. My current goal is to add mass along with strength and speed for my Senior year. My long term goal is be part of something bigger than myself, by continuing to play football at the collegiate level while achieving my academic goals. I always put academics in front of athletics and would love to be able to find a school that I am able to perform both. I am open to all options as I am trying to make a difference on and off the field.
