Personal Statement

Hi my name is Hunter Chriss,

I have been playing football for the past 12 years.  I would love to continue playing football at the next level while pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

I am a very passionate player, devoted to my team.  I play hard and continue to challenge myself.  I love pumping up my team and encouraging them to play at their best.   I am responsible and I take my practice time seriously yet still have fun with my team.  I am always looking for new ways to make myself a better player.  I look to my teammates for encouragement, support and inspiration and I give them the same.  Playing football for all these years has given me the opportunity to face formable and skilled opponents, which has shaped my sportsmanship, skill level and appreciation for the game.

I take my academics seriously as well.  This year I have maintained a 3.8 GPA with numerous AP classes and several extra-curricular activities.  These would include, 4-H, FFA and raising animals.  I have learned to manage my time wisely and be able to prioritize tasks.

I believe I would make an excellent addition to any team and I look forward to hearing from you.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
