Braden Brimhall '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Braden Brimhall and I am interested in playing collegiate football.  I play quarterback for Yucca Valley High School in Yucca Valley, California.  In my junior season we made it to the playoffs for the first time in 8 years, and I threw for 2,205 yards and 20 TDs.  I also had 3 TDs rushing and was selected as a 1^st Team All Desert Valley League.  This season I had 1418 yards and 18 TDs in ten games. I also had 5 rushing TDs.  Most importantly, we have won our first league championship in ten years.

I have been a three sport athlete for all four years of high school in football, basketball, and baseball.  I have also had nine different head coaches in these sports during my four years at Yucca Valley High School.  In spite of this challenge, I believe this broad exposure to a wide range of competitive situations, coaching styles, and systems will make me an extremely competitive athlete with a high ceiling for continued development when allowed to focus on a single sport and learn a single system over the course of multiple years.

I excel academically and carry a 3.83 GPA.  I am extremely committed to strength and conditioning and take great pride  in my work ethic and fitness.  I am a committed leader who understands the value of teammates holding each other to high standards of expectation.  I am also actively involved in service through my faith and congregation.  I am mentally tough, durable, and resilient.

I believe if given the opportunity, I can positively contribute to the culture of discipline and excellence in your program.
