As I finish off my junior year, I have two main goals that I focus on and have high priority in my life, as well as two smaller but very important goals that I work on as well; church on Sundays and devoting a few hours a month to my community. But what keeps me motivated are my main goals. The first of which, is to keep my grades up and at a high level. I believe that performing great in the classroom will take me places first and foremost. My second goal revolves around everything it takes to be my best out on the football field. From diet, exercise and lifting to film study, working my technique, leading my O-line into battle and laying it all out on the field every Friday night; football is who I am and what I love. It's been this way ever since I can remember as a toddler all the way to the present and my desires and aspirations grow more and more as I see myself aging and getting closer and closer to my college years. I can see my self graduating high school with a successful academic record, test scores and football accomplishments. I can see all my hard work and goal setting paying off as I see my mom, dad and little brother in the stands watching me take the field for the thousandth time, only this time it's at a college level. I'm ready though, I'm the big man out there and I've studied my opponent and I'm ready to out smart and out skill the competition. The whistle blows my first college snap dead. I glance up at my family one more time, just like back in the little league days when all I needed was a little hint of coaching or encouragement from mom and dad, only this time I looked up to thank them. In that the moment I know I have made myself and everyone I love prouder than ever before.
