Jammin Henry '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’0” outside linebacker and defensive end from Colorado Springs, CO. My Sophomore and Junior years I started varsity and lettered. I had a season ending injury early Junior year and I am working my way back in the off season and will come back even stronger senior year. As a sophomore I also lettered in Academics and joined the National Honors Society. My GPA is 3.66.

I am interested in a mid-size Christian school that will push me everyday to become a better athlete, as well as challenge me to become a better Christ following student. My goal is to better prepare myself for a career after college while meeting lifelong friends.

For the past 3 years(6 seasons) I have helped coach a youth football team following the players from third to sixth grade. This past summer I went on a missions trip to Kenya with my church where we helped young patients and their families at a CURE International hospital, and I will be going to Malawi this summer. I am fully committed to helping my community in every way I can.

I am a leader on and off the field and was named captain of the JV team. I am a team player and can celebrate both the team’s successes and my teammates’ individual successes. My athletic goal is to start on a competitive college team as an outside line backer. Although I would strongly consider any and all opportunities, I believe my best fit would be at a DII, DIII, or NAIA level.
