Personal Statement
I want to attend a university that challenges me both academically and athletically. I want to leave college with experiences that will prepare me for my adult life and having mastered sports that I can enjoy for a lifetime.
I am a team player, first and foremost. My parents and my coaches have always instilled that in me. It has always been about the success of the team and not of the individual.
Hard work is at the center of everything I do, both on and off the field. I worked to earn 3 varsity letters my freshman year in football, basketball and track. I started in all 3 of those sports my sophomore year. I always work hard in the classroom and do my best to help others succeed in class too. I volunteer in my community and use all of these experiences to further my growth as a person.
