Tyler Gallegos '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Tyler Gallegos and I play football and wrestle. My goals for college are the following: play varsity football, study forestry and horticulture, study abroad in a different country, receive an internship opportunity in a greenhouse, and make lifelong friends with similar aspirations. I'll play whatever position you'll let me, but I'm naturally a tight end and long snapper. There's no greater feeling than catching a bullet off a stick route and trucking those corners and linebackers, or snapping one to the punter and making a tackle on the same play. For my junior and senior year, we ran a west coast offense. I learned so much about the tight end position from coach Ware, who coached wide receivers for the New Orleans Saints. What makes me different from other candidates is that I'm coachable in every sense and can adapt to a new position quickly. I played linebacker for the first time in my life my senior year.
