Personal Statement
I've played football for almost my whole life. When other kids were building with Legos & playing with action figures I was trying to throw a football.
I started playing flag football when I was 5 years old; at 7 years old it was time for full pads. I was in heaven.
I have always been a quarterback and love the responsibility & hard work involved to be successful.
I consider myself a strong leader and positive force on and off of the field. I was elected a Varsity Captain this past season. This was the first time in 8 years a junior was elected this role. I am also currently serving as the only Junior Captain elected on the Varsity basketball team as well.
I am proud of my accomplishments on the field this past season. I threw for 3003 yards in just 10 games. I had back to back games throwing over 500 yards. I was awarded 1st team All-Conference as well as All Conference Offensive player of the year, All State Honorable Mention, All Colorado Elite 3rd Team Quarterback (Colorado Prep Report Rivals.com) and Junior All State- First team Offense (Colorado Prep Report Rivals.com).
Our team was very young last season and I am eager to see what we bring to the field next season.
My high school has a very rigorous Liberal Arts curriculum based on College Preparation. I am proud that I made honor this last semester.
I would love to have the opportunity to work hard and represent my college while gaining my education. I hope to major in either Construction Management or Business.
